History

The history of the traditional Golden Tulip Award Ceremonies, which was held for the seventh time this year.

1. Golden Tulip Awards

The 1st Golden Tulip Ball was attended by The Hague Embassy Legal Counselor Abdullah Cebeci, Feyenord Mayor Seyit Yeyden,  Feyenord Deputy Mayor Turan Yazir and IJselmonde District Municipal Council Member Necat Kaya. In addition, European Championship winner Kübra Öztürk, Turkey National Women's Football Team Goalkeeper Leyla Bağcı, as well as Turkey Latife Hanım Museum (İzmir) director Ahmet Güler and many businessmen attended.

Semih Arıkan, Garbis Serikoğlu and Tülin Yılmaz, one of the well-known Dutch musicians, and Şeyma Başkurt, one of the finalists of the Dutch Popstar competition, enlivened the night with their popular songs.

At the Golden Tulip Achievement Awards ball held with the contributions of B&T Marketing Organization, Radyo Deniz and Lebara, 16 Achievement Awards and 2 Honorary Awards were found.

  10. Best Investor of the Year Award - Atılay Uslu

  11. Politician of the Year Award - Fatma Koşer Kaya,

  12. Artist of the Year Award -Karsu Dönmez,

  13. Best Businesswoman of the Year Award - Aysel Erbudak

  14. Best Investor of the Year Award -Ertan Torunoğulları

  15. Culture Award of the Year - İlhan Karaçay

  16. Best Architect of the Year Award - Mehtap Özkan

Golden Tulip Honor Awards, World and Olympic Champion Swimmer Inge de Bruijn from the Netherlands; Our World and Olympic Champion Weightlifter Naim Süleymanoğlu won from Turkey.

After the winners of the awards were found, the special cake of the Golden Tulip Achievement Awards ball, which was held for the first time this year, was cut by Naim Süleymanoğlu and the world-famous pianist and vocalist Karsu Dönmez among applause.

Bülent Türker, Chairman of the Organizing Committee; “This was an important event for us. Our aim is to make this traditional and to ensure that these awards gain meaning and importance. I would like to thank everyone who did not break our invitation and attended the ball.” said.

3. Golden Tulip Awards

The Golden Tulip Awards were received with great interest in their third year, and their valuable guests and participants added great significance to the evening.

  3. Athlete of the Year Award- Far East athlete, European Champion Ali Özkal,

  4. Association of the Year Award- Erzincanlılar Foundation,

  5. Politician of the Year Award- Zeki Baran,

  6. Business Woman of the Year Award - Hatice Bayer,

  7. Health Award of the Year - Doctor Melih Öymen,

  8. Journalist of the Year Award-Journalist Özcan Özbay,

  9. Special Jury Award - Mixed Astrologer Görkem Yüce,

  10. Businessman of the Year Award - Turgut Torunogullari.

The Istanbul Classical Turkish Music Choir, which joined the night from Amsterdam, gave a magnificent concert consisting of the songs Atatürk loved. The 3rd Golden Tulip Honor Award was given to Dutch Braam Verbrugge and his wife Emine Kara from Stichting Sara for their work in rescuing girls who are in the grip of an incurable disease and similar patients. The Lifetime Life Award of the Year was also presented to FATMA GİRİK, the beloved cinema artist of the years.

5th Golden Tulip Awards

  1.  Health of the Year Award- Mercan Yıldız,

  2.  Association of the Year Award -Asbir Sivaslılar,

  3.  Achievement of the Year Award - Esthetician Filiz Sağır,

  4.  Sports Award of the Year - Radiant Day,

  5.  Culture Award of the Year - Mehmet Ali Taşdemir,

  6.  Student of the Year Award - Meltem and Active Zivkara,

  7.  Press Award of the Year- Zeynel Abidin Kılıç.

 

The 5th Golden Tulip Lifetime Award was given to Nükhet Duru, the beloved artist of the years. In addition, the Golden Tulip Honor Award was presented to Erol Konyalı from Mersin, one of the first Turks to come to the Netherlands.

6th Golden Tulip Awards

The Golden Tulip Awards were again met with great interest in their 6th year. During the night, awards were presented to 11 people.
